How do animal cruelty calls work with All American dogs?

• First, we validate the concern with a visit to the home and contact with

the resident.

• If the concern is valid, we start our documentation process (photos and a

report for the police department).

• We present our finding to the local law enforcement and aid them, if

needed, with the court to seize the animal

• Once we have custody of the animal, we take to our vet for a medical

evaluation which will be presented to the judge with any other relevant

documentation.

• If the Judge decide to award custody of the pet to us, it will be evaluated

and placed into our adoption program.

Animal abuse is a serious subject and issue. If you suspect animal abuse is happening, say something. Don't wait for it to look like the stories you see on the news. If we all started acting quick enough, and leveraging the resources we have, together we can save more animals.
