TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: October 2, 2026
Last Updated: October 2, 2026

Welcome to the website of All American Dogs ("All American Dogs," "AAD," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.allamericandogs.com, including its webpages, forms, resources, communications, and other features (collectively, the "Website").

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. About All American Dogs

All American Dogs is a privately operated animal-control organization that provides animal-control services, animal care, community resources, and related services to communities in North Texas.

The Website provides information and tools that may allow visitors to contact All American Dogs, report animal-control concerns, report missing or found pets, request information regarding pet surrender, apply for volunteer opportunities, apply for employment, subscribe to communications, and access other animal-related resources.

All American Dogs may provide services pursuant to contracts, agreements, ordinances, or other arrangements with municipalities and communities. Nothing on this Website creates, changes, or replaces any such contract, ordinance, governmental authority, or legal requirement.

2. Separate Organizations and Partners

All American Dogs works with other organizations, including nonprofit animal-welfare organizations, to support animals and the communities we serve.

Miles of Hope is a separate nonprofit organization founded to help support All American Dogs. Miles of Hope is not owned or operated by All American Dogs, and the two organizations remain separate legal entities.

All American Dogs may also work with other rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, animal-welfare organizations, municipalities, and service providers.

A reference to or link to another organization does not mean that organization is owned, operated, or controlled by All American Dogs.

3. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information. However, information on the Website may change and may not always be complete, current, or error-free.

Animal-related information can change rapidly. Information concerning a particular animal, report, location, ownership status, availability, placement, or other circumstance should not be relied upon as a guarantee of a particular outcome.

Nothing on the Website guarantees:

  • That a missing animal will be located or recovered;

  • That a found animal will be identified or reunited with an owner;

  • That an animal will be available for reclaim, adoption, foster, rescue, or placement;

  • That an animal surrender request will be accepted;

  • That a report will result in a particular enforcement or animal-control action;

  • That an employment or volunteer application will be accepted;

  • That a particular service, resource, or referral will be available; or

  • That Website information is a substitute for professional veterinary, legal, medical, emergency, or governmental advice.

4. Animal-Control Requests and Reports

The Website may allow visitors to submit reports concerning animal-control matters, animal welfare concerns, or suspected violations.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular investigation, response time, enforcement action, citation, impoundment, or other result.

All American Dogs may review submitted information and determine what action, if any, is appropriate based on applicable law, contracts, ordinances, available resources, public safety considerations, and the circumstances presented.

The Website is not an emergency reporting system. If an immediate threat to human life or safety exists, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service. For urgent animal-control matters, contact the appropriate local animal-control authority or All American Dogs using the applicable direct contact information.

5. Missing and Found Pet Reports

Visitors may submit missing or found pet information through the Website.

By submitting a report, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submitting a report does not establish ownership, custody, possession, or legal rights in an animal and does not guarantee recovery or reunification.

All American Dogs may review, verify, edit, publish, share, or remove information submitted through these reports when reasonably necessary to assist with identification, reunification, animal-control operations, public safety, or related purposes.

Information submitted for a missing or found pet may be shared with appropriate animal-control personnel, shelters, rescue organizations, veterinary providers, municipalities, or members of the public when reasonably necessary to assist with the animal.

Do not knowingly submit false information concerning ownership, identity, location, or circumstances involving an animal.

6. Pet Surrender Requests

The Website may allow individuals to submit a request concerning the surrender of an animal.

Submitting a surrender form is a request for consideration and does not itself transfer ownership or custody of an animal to All American Dogs.

Submission of a surrender request does not guarantee that All American Dogs will accept the animal, that space will be available, or that the animal will be placed with a rescue, foster, adopter, or other organization.

Any transfer of ownership or custody must occur through the appropriate process and documentation.

Individuals submitting surrender information are responsible for providing truthful and complete information concerning the animal, including known medical conditions, behavioral concerns, bite history, animal compatibility, ownership information, and other circumstances requested by the form.

Surrender fees, eligibility requirements, scheduling, acceptance, and other conditions may vary.

7. Adoption, Foster, and Rescue Placement

All American Dogs may work with Miles of Hope and other rescue organizations to help animals find foster or adoptive homes.

The Website may direct visitors to external adoption resources.

Where adoption or foster applications are handled by another organization, that organization independently determines its eligibility requirements, application procedures, approvals, contracts, fees, and placement decisions.

All American Dogs does not guarantee adoption, foster placement, approval, or any particular outcome through a third-party organization.

8. Donations

The Website may contain a donation button or link that directs visitors to a donation page operated by Miles of Hope, a separate nonprofit organization.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, donations made through that external donation page are donations to Miles of Hope and are not donations to All American Dogs.

All American Dogs does not control the payment-processing practices of the external donation page.

Questions concerning donation receipts, tax acknowledgments, refunds, or donation records should be directed to Miles of Hope or the applicable payment processor.

All American Dogs does not represent that it is a charitable organization or that donations made to Miles of Hope are deductible for any particular individual. Donors should consult their own tax advisers regarding tax treatment.

9. Volunteer Applications

Visitors may submit volunteer applications through the Website.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, placement, scheduling, access to animals, or participation in any particular program or activity.

Applicants are responsible for providing truthful and complete information.

All American Dogs may use submitted information to evaluate volunteer opportunities, communicate with applicants, determine suitability, schedule activities, and administer volunteer programs.

10. Employment Applications

Visitors may submit employment applications through the Website.

Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, employment offer, or employment.

All American Dogs may use application information to evaluate candidates, communicate with applicants, and administer its hiring process.

All hiring decisions are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.

If All American Dogs obtains a consumer report or background report through a consumer reporting agency for employment purposes, any required notices, authorizations, and procedures will be handled separately as required by applicable law.

11. User-Submitted Content

The Website may allow users to submit text, photographs, videos, documents, animal information, and other materials.

You represent that information you submit is truthful to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit any photographs, videos, documents, or other content you provide.

By submitting information, you authorize All American Dogs to receive, store, review, and use that information for the purpose for which it was submitted and for reasonably related animal-control, animal-care, administrative, safety, operational, or community purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

When you submit photographs, videos, descriptions, or other materials concerning an animal for purposes such as identification or reunification, you grant All American Dogs a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and share those materials for legitimate animal-control, animal-welfare, identification, reunification, public-safety, educational, and community purposes.

You retain ownership of content you own unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All American Dogs may remove or decline to publish submitted material when appropriate.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Website to:

  • Submit knowingly false, fraudulent, or misleading information;

  • Impersonate another person or organization;

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person;

  • Upload malicious software or harmful code;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Website systems;

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Website;

  • Collect or misuse information about other individuals;

  • Use information obtained through the Website for unlawful purposes; or

  • Violate applicable laws or the rights of others.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, content created or provided by All American Dogs for the Website, including its branding, logos, original text, graphics, photographs, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to All American Dogs and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use Website content for personal, noncommercial purposes consistent with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publicly display, or commercially exploit protected materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, photographs, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may link to or incorporate services operated by third parties, including adoption resources, donation platforms, social-media platforms, maps, video services, payment processors, and other external resources.

Third-party services operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.

All American Dogs does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, availability, accessibility, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites or services.

15. Website Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the Website, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access.

The Website or portions of it may be modified, suspended, unavailable, or discontinued temporarily or permanently without notice.

16. No Guarantee of Electronic Transmission

Submitting a form does not guarantee that the submission will be received, reviewed immediately, or acted upon within a particular period.

Website communications should not be used when immediate action is required.

Users should retain copies of important information submitted through the Website.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

All American Dogs does not make warranties, express or implied, concerning the Website's availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, All American Dogs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Website.

This includes losses arising from reliance on Website information, user-submitted information, third-party websites, interrupted access, technical problems, or the actions or omissions of third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent that applicable law prohibits such exclusion or limitation.

These Website Terms do not replace or modify separate contracts, animal-control agreements, municipal requirements, surrender agreements, employment documents, volunteer agreements, or other legally binding documents.

19. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not require indemnification for conduct or liability that cannot legally be shifted to another party.

20. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information submitted through the Website may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed.

21. Accessibility

All American Dogs is committed to improving Website accessibility and usability for individuals with disabilities.

Our Accessibility Statement provides additional information and explains how to report an accessibility barrier or request assistance.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another law is required to apply.

Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our Website, services, organizational practices, or applicable laws change.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
